another one of my go to spots. both times I've been here it has been excellent. the first time I had a full Oyster, second time 1/2 roast beef and a side of the Monday Red Beans n Rice special. both were some of the best sandwiches I've ever had (especially the roast beef). i

Hot Sausage po-Boy was 5/5. Good authentic NOLA food. Great value. Not the best Muffelata in town but everything else was great.

Cash only, delicious plates. There can be a line. No inside seating really. Good outdoor seating though. I had the meatloaf plate. Lots of food for only $10. Meatloaf, potatoes, two sides and two pieces of buttered bread. This is a great spot for good food.

Go to the ATM. Get cash. Come here. Holy s#!+. I had the daily plate which was Jambalya with fried fish. Ridiculous. 2 sides (apple pie counts as one) and buttered bread. Sit outside and take in the scene. Great meal and a Bywater experience.

Found this little hidden spot in a neighborhood. They have some very good Poboys all different kinds will be back. Please check the time to make sure they're open. Thank you, New Orleans.

Came here for the po boys and had the best experience with my family. Good old fashioned mom and pop spot with fresh food in an eclectic quiet area (at least during a Monday morning). Ordered the deviled eggs, roast po boy and meatball po boy.

This is a must stop for a po' boy when you're in New Orleans! We went around lunch time on Saturday. The line was not long and our group was able to order quickly. We ordered the shrimp and roast beef and both were very good. The shrimp was my favorite and I'll definitely order that again. The prices are reasonable. The owner was working and he was extremely nice and welcoming. He definitely added to the experience. One note, they only accept cash so make sure you plan ahead. They do have a ATM machine in case you forget though.

We stopped by Frady's on a random late Wednesday afternoon. This is a small, busy location with no inside seating. We placed our order relatively quickly and our food was cooked fresh then. We had a catfish platter with the sides of the day (green beans, sweet apples, potato salad), a roast beef poboy, and a fried shrimp poboy. Every single thing was delicious, even the freshly made potato salad (which a lot of places don't do right). The other great plus is their prices. They have refrigerator units with sodas and local drinks (plus the local pies if you haven't tried them yet). They have short daytime hours - no dinner - so make sure you get there on time. This place and its people were great and we will be back. They have different specials each day -see pics for the daily specials. Street parking.
